Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) – Post 10194
The VFW was founded in 1899 evolving out of the Spanish American War to help veterans with assistance from the government and continues that service for veterans who have served in foreign conflicts around the world. The local post holds monthly meetings of its membership to assist veterans with their affairs, as well as assist the community in various events and happenings with volunteers and contributions. The local post meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday each month at the Federated Church, 519 E.
